With the complietion of the successful und hight-quality conservation and restoration of the wall paintings, the chapel received a bronze plate from the Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz (DSD).

The ceremonial handover of the plaque to the property owner and the ISKD took place in fall 2024. The plate is also intended to honor the commitment of the foundation’s private sponsors.

Since 2022, the Institute has been dedicated to the restoration and conservation of the valuable wall paintings in the castle chapel. Thanks to the support of the DSD, the restoration of the historic wall paintings was made possible.
